Grape

Pink Taifi

Late maturing variety. Fruiting in 3-4 years after plant- ing. Yields are 44.3 t/ha. Not resistant to moderate cold, but rel- atively drought-resistant and resistant to fungal diseases. Taifi can be easily transported. Berries are large, slightly elongated (22-30 by 16-20 mm), with a beautiful tulip color when ripe. The fruit of the shadow part are greenish-yellow with pink spots.

The peel is relatively thick and elastic. Content: sugar - 19-25%, acidity - 5-6 g/l.  

Ripening period: second half of September.


White Husaini 

The variety is prefabricated and has several varia- tions. Husaynekadu prevails in Khujand plantations  and in most other areas - Husaynelyunda. The variety is not resistant to frost and drought, it is strongly affected by oidium, bacteri- al cancer and anthracnose. Productivity: in Gissar 11.3-23.3 t/ ha and in Istravshan 23.3 t/ha. Berry: is very large, elongated or oblong, cylindrical, yellowish-green. The peel is thin, strong and separates well from the pulp. The pulp is juicy and crispy. The taste is moderately sweet. The average weight  is 230-250g.

Ripening period: end of August.


Black Husaini

The grapevine are medium-sized with low frost resistance and less resistant to oidium. Pro- ductivity: 60-70 c/ha. Berries are large, 4.0-4.5 cm, elongated-oval, black-blue with a thick gray waxy bloom. The peel is dense and the pulp is juicy. Con- tent: sugar – 20-24%, acidity – 5,6-5,7 g\l.

Ripening period: it belongs to varieties of medium-late ripening.


Shokhona

Middle-grade variety. It identified in Hissar by locals. The leaf is medium, rounded, five- lobed. The bunch of grapes is very large, conical, winged, branched, loose. The weight of the bunch is 2-4 kg. The yield reaches up to 40 t/ha. Berries: large or very large. The size of the largest berry is 40 mm. The shape is elongated, the color is pink with a different shade, the peel is firm. The pulp is fleshy, juicy, crispy. The taste is pleasant. Content: sugar от 20-23%, acidity 5-6 g/l.

Ripening period: third decade of August.


White Taifi

Fast-growing and full-bodied variety, well adapted  to transportation conditions. Resistant to fungal diseases. The bunch and berries are large, slightly oblong-ovate. Bunch can weigh up to 2 kg.

The color of the berry is light green. The peel of the fruit is relatively dense and elastic. It bears fruit in 3 years after planting. Content: sugar - 17,3%, acidity - 0,40%.


President

New selection of grapes. Yield from a bush is 150-160 kg. The variety has a high resist- ance to fungal diseases. The bunch is large, conical. One bunch has a weight of 0.5 to 3 kg. The ber- ries are large, cylindrical, when ripe they become liver-red (length of berries is 3.5-4.5 cm). Content: 23% sugar.

Ripening period: It belongs to the group of late varieties and ripens in the second and third decades of September.
