On July 28 of this year, the National Library of Tajikistan hosted an international scientific and practical conference "Breeding achievements in improving the sheep of the Hissar breed and its role in creating new breeds and types" to fulfill the instructions of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan on the initiative of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Tajikistan.

The conference was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan, Dear Sulaymon Zizoda, Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan, Dear Kurban Hakimzoda, representatives of the Majlisi Namoyandagon Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Food Safety Committee under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Agency for the Provision of Special Property under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, representatives of diplomatic corps, development partners, international organizations, scientists of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Tajikistan, the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, the Agrarian University of Tajikistan.Shakhtemur, representatives of executive bodies of state power of regions, cities and districts and heads of sheep farms were present.

Scientists and specialists in the field of sheep breeding from the Russian Federation, the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Ukraine, Belarus, Canada, China and Pakistan also took part.

The seminar was opened by the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan, dear Kurban Hakimzoda.

The Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan, Dear Sulaymon Zizoda, in his speech expressed the support and constant attention of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Dear Emomali Rahmon and the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan to the industry.

Representatives of the Majlisi Namoyandagon Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, the diplomatic corps, development partners, international organizations, scientists and specialists of sheep breeding from the Russian Federation, the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Ukraine, Belarus, Canada, China and Pakistan also spoke.

Representatives of international organizations, scientists and industry specialists also spoke virtually.

It should be noted that the continuation of the international scientific and practical conference "Breeding achievements in improving the sheep of the Hissar breed and its role in the creation of new breeds and varieties" will be held on July 29 this year in the Khoja Sanghoki area of the rural jamoat of Zideh Varzob district.
